At STI Skiwise, we’ll always try to make your ski trip just that extra bit special. Some lucky groups enjoyed the experience of a lifetime by meeting Women’s 2002 Olympic Downhill Champion, Carole Montillet in her home resort of Villard de Lans in France. As well as a photo shoot and the chance to see a genuine gold medal, the pupils also asked questions as she visited their hotel. Carole is delighted to be able to recommend Villard de Lans for our school groups and her visit was certainly a highlight for the school.
In the Ski Amade region, some of our schools were thrilled to meet Austrian World Cup champion, Michael Walchhofer when we invited him to join us for a chat. Michael won a silver medal in the downhill event at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Italy and is a famous figure in the area.
